未使用ボス

Bloodborneの未実装ボスの情報。いくつかのボスは特定の聖杯ダンジョン（いわゆる改造聖杯）で出会うことができる。基本的に灯りを介して夢に帰ることはできないようだが、目覚めをやり直すなりで初期位置に戻り、マップ外に身を投じ落下死することで夢に戻ることができる。

Great One Beast

巨大な馬のような見た目をした未実装ボス。遠距離から超スピードで接近したり、連続かみつき攻撃を行うほか、咆哮とともに不可視のダメージフィールド（？）を展開してくる。
特に不可視の攻撃は当然回避が困難である。未実装ゆえに製作段階だから不可視なのか、あるいは人智を超えた攻撃だから不可視なのかは不明。
かえって体力はそれほど高くは無い。

Moon Presence

ゲームに実装されている月の魔物との関連は不明だが、見た目が似ていることからこの名で呼ばれる未実装ボス。元々月の魔物はこの姿の予定だったのだろうか。
どろどろした体で這い蹲りながら移動してくる。攻撃は基本的に体から生えている巨大な触手による。動きは全体的に鈍く隙も大きいが、この触手攻撃はこちらに対するターゲットがしつこく、当たり判定も長い。
そして何より連続ヒットで高レベルキャラクターですら一撃で葬られる危険がある。基本的には背後が安全。
体力が半分になると攻撃方法が追加され、空に浮いた後Great One Beastのように不可視のダメージフィールドを咆哮と共に展開してくるようになる。
またこのボスと戦うマップもまた未実装の特別な場所で、夜明けを迎えた海岸のような背景である。

狩人の夢、工房内にある鏡を調べることによって、キャラクターの編集が可能になるはずだったようである。

時計塔のマリアと会話

DLCにて、時計塔に入ると通常マリアは死んでいるが、もともとは生きたまま椅子に座っているイベントを用意していた模様。そこでマリアと会話した後、こちらがマリアをその場で攻撃し、死体と化した彼女を調べることで「死体漁りとは～」のムービーへ移行する。また、こちらが攻撃しなかった場合、シモンが引導を渡すことになっていたようである。

この未使用ボイスにはいくつか問題が提示されています。
どうもローレンスとゲールマンの会話が成立していて、これが意味深ですよね。
ローレンスとゲールマンは2人でウィレーム先生を裏切った。
（ウィレーム先生は純粋な人間の昇華を望み、2人は獣性を逃れることを望んだ。おまけに2人はその手段に血を用いた。その意味で先生を裏切ったことになっている。）
ゲールマンは獣化に苦しむ人々を救うために狩りを始めた。そしてローレンスは血の医療を用いて人間の進化を研究した。
まさにゲールマンは必殺仕事人といった立場でしょうか。
ゲールマンはローレンスがそれを成し得るのをずっと待っているのですね。
一度は漁村でそれが実現しそうになったのかもしれませんが、ゲールマンの身には何かが起こったようで、ローレンスは絶望の為か獣化してしまいました。
死んだと思われたゲールマンですが、精神が月の魔物に捕らわれたおかげで、遺志は狩人の夢に残り、未だにローレンスとの約束を待ち望んでいます。
結果、狩人たちが獣狩りを続け、医療教会は医療を続けているということでしょうかね。全ての発端はこの二人にあるようです。
ここでゲールマンの最期の台詞”The night, and the dream, were long...”を見てみると、どうやらあれはローレンスに投げかけている言葉と受け取れます。
直訳的には”夜も、夢も、あまりにも長すぎた・・・。”と言っています。ローレンスは”It won't be long...”と言っていましたが、約束は想像を絶するほどに長かったということですね。（まあ、とっくにローレンスは獣化しちゃってるから仕方ないのだが。）
日本語版での”全ては、長い夜の夢だったよ・・・。”をこの時の彼の思いとして考えるならば、この”夢”とは、狩人の夢だけでなく、ローレンスとゲールマンの抱いた希望も、結局夢物語にすぎなかったんだという意味にも受け取れます。ゲールマン、とんでもない泣かせキャラだ！
ゲールマンの寝言は、「解放してくれ・・・！」が泣かせ台詞として代表的ですが、これを踏まえると、「ローレンス、随分と遅かったじゃないか・・。」という台詞も大分やるせないですね。彼はローレンスが約束を実現させた夢を見ているのでしょうか・・・。

この二人の会話をカットした理由は謎です。しかし、”If I die, you are to be next...”や、”Forgive me, Laurence, I could not wait...”という台詞は、主人公がゲールマンと戦う理由が確定してしまう材料だからカットされたのかもしれませんね。フロム的には、物語としてはgoodですが、想像の余地を削る以上ゲームとしてはＮＧだったのかもしれません。 -- 学徒? 2017-12-28 (木) 15:07:48

この未使用音声をそのまま受け取るのはどうかと思うが、ウィレーム先生の瞳狂いは、まさにミコラージュそのものだし、悪夢行くのにいちいちビルゲンワースの教室棟通過することから、メンシス学派こそがウィレーム先生の直系だと思う。
(ゲームのテキストだと、まるで聖歌隊が直系のような印象を与えているが、彼らはそのテキストで「道を違えている」と直系ではないと断言されており、またその言葉から道を違えていない直系がいることを示唆していると思う)。
そもそも彼が湖に「秘密」を隠したとあるが、DLCでシモンが『「秘密」を知りたがることはビルゲンワースの立派な末裔』と言うように、その甘露によって来るものこそがウィレーム先生の狙い、そいつの啓蒙を奪うのか、あるいは足掻くさまを見て、思考を重ねる「手段」にするつもりなのかはわからないが、ロマを倒した後、まるでメンシスの悪夢に導くように、ヤハグルへ転送されている。(まあ、これはゲーム的単純な誘導かもしれんが)
またゲールマン同様、悪夢に囚われていると思われるミコラージュやその悪夢を作り出しているメルゴーは、主人公の前にも獣狩りを完遂した狩人に潰されていると思われるのに、だれとも入れ替わることなく、その「獣狩りの夜」のたびに出ていると思われる。故にこの「メンシスの悪夢」を作り出す、繰り返す別の要因があると思われる。
この要因こそがウィレーム先生ではないだろうか。そうなるといよいよウィレーム先生が上位者以上の存在みたいになってくるし、さすがにそれはないか・・・もっと瞳をください。 -- 2019-05-14 (火) 03:59:47
